Get to Know Mireya!

Who is Mireya?

Mireya shares all things beauty, nail, and lifestyle on Instagram as @mireyaaxo, on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter!

Favorite nail polish brand?

Mireya is a hardcore China Glaze lover! She says, "they have the best range in colors!" Mireya also loves their cute polish names like "Highlight of my Summer" and "Too Yacht to Handle." For some reason, a fun name just makes the polish even better, right?!

Nail art inspiration?

"I take nail polish inspiration from everything!" says Mireya. When she goes shopping and finds cute floral prints on clothing, she immediately thinks about floral nail art. Floral nail art and floral colors are perfect for this Spring season!

Fun fact?

Mireya loves to tell the story of how her love for nail art started;
be prepared.. some tea will be spilled.
Just like most of us, she always loved getting her nails done. Then when Pinterest started growing popularity around 2012, Mireya became obsessed with all the nail trends and styles that she found herself pinning. One fateful day, she decided to screenshot someone's photo of their beautiful vintage rose nails to use as a reference photo for the
next time she headed to the nail salon.

Little did she know.... the nail tech would NOT be able to do the design justice! Mireya says she left the salon with "blob looking vintage flowers" on her nails. She was disappointed, her wallet was disappointed, and it was an all-around mess!

She went home, removed that unfortunate flower design, grabbed a couple toothpicks, a couple bottles of nail polish, and she recreated the vintage flower design on her own. She was so proud of and happy with her first design that she just HAD to take a photo of them and share it on social media.
"The rest is history!"
That first design that started it all:

We hope you've enjoyed getting to know Mireya!
